#NaNoPoMo 18: Freedom

NaNoPoMo 18: Freedom

I used at least three new magnets in this one (soar, as, please).

Did you know that using four beats per line automatically makes your poem go in a sing-song voice that can't be taken seriously?

It's the same as using "feminine rhyme" (two-syllable rhyme like "mother"/"brother", instead of one-syllable rhyme like "moon"/"soon") - it starts sounding like doggerel.

I bet you did know that.

::cough:: Many of my poems have been of a very abstract nature, and therefore this is to cater to people who don't understand that sort of poetry.

(Or, maybe, sometimes, I just have to write bad poetry. You try and get a month's worth of decency out of my ocean/love magnet collection.)
