Notes From The City: 1 June 2007
Above: Daily Voice headline poster for 1 June 2007.
Pretty self explanatory (especially considering the Department of Home Affairs is involved), unless you can't read Afrikaans.

So that's why their systems are so screwed up. They're wasting resources on trans-gender surgery. I shudder to think what eNatis has going on the side.
I suspect eNatis is too busy trying to compute the biology behind how African potatoes are going to cure AIDS to worry with licensing and registrations, hence the continuous crashes.
"Department of Crone Affairs" anyone?;-)
Uh ... no.
*AHEM*...I read the poster too fast: I thought it said "Home Affairs maak oud 'n vrou"... Knew I should have paid more attention in Afrikaans classes at school!
I don't think it would have helped.
Well, on the bright side, this means you can get a sex change op for the price of a new ID.
That's a bargain!
That's why all the tourists visit, isn't it? Bargains!
(Just don't have a meal at a restaurant at the Waterfront.)
